Non venomous hooded snakes?

Ok I like snakes that are hooded but I want to own one as a pet. Are there snakes out there that are non venomous that have hoods? I don't know the laws about owning certain snakes in the state of Idaho, the state I live in. I am aware that you can get the venom glands taken out of the snake but I'm figuring that would cost too much.
